X-treme™ Series Dies Meet Close-Tolerance Demands

Our flexible Cutting Dies wrap smoothly and evenly around magnetic cylinders in a fraction of the time required for hard-tooled setups. Top-of-the-line X-treme™ Series Dies produce outstandingly crisp, clean die cuts. Specially designed to accommodate close-tolerance die-cutting applications, X-treme® Dies handle challenges like 1 mil on 1 mil clear-look labels and synthetics with ease.

When teamed up with high-quality magnetic cylinders like our new X-treme™ Series Cylinders, made to the industry’s tightest tolerances, they all but eliminate waste and average two to three times longer life than standard dies on standard cylinders. Lead times on all dies can be as short as two days.

Standard Die-Cutting Dies and Folding Carton Dies last for hundreds of thousands of impressions, and our hardened dies offer greatly extended durability. Standard Flexible Dies come in a full range of formats – for raised, reversed, and interrupted creases, burst cutting, crush cutting, demanding bi-level slit-over-perforation applications, and more.

Impression™ Series 3D Dies Bring Embosses to Life

Laser-engraved male and female Impression Series 3D Dies deliver highly accurate impressions. These flexible dies provide exceptional dimensional depth and fine detail. They are made from a specially formulated rubber material that is vulcanized to a flexible steel backing for easy on-press magnetic mounting.

Direct laser ablation engraves away excess rubber and leaves die surfaces precision cut, clean, and ready to run. These environmentally friendly dies clean with water and deliver superior wear and stability.

Impression™ Series 2D Dies Offer Economy, Versatility

For standard two-dimensional embossing, we have die sets that consist of flexible male steel dies that run against rubber female plates. These economical die sets produce first-rate results on all weights of embossable papers.

Printing Plates Speed Setups and Changeovers

Flexible Printing Plates wrap around magnetic cylinders right on the press. They reduce changeover times, simplify registration, and give you superior results in all types of printing – especially when mounted on close-tolerance Bunting® Cylinders.

You get high-resolution imaging, superior ink transfer, and consistently accurate detail in both reverse and positive graphics. Durable rubber-blend plates are precision cut by direct laser ablation and clean with water – no chemical washes or solvents needed.
