Groundbreaking

In 2005, the X-treme® magnetic die cutting cylinder was introduced becoming the first magnetic die cutting cylinder in the world with total run out accuracy below 10 millionths of an inch.

Bunting® Magnetics has invested in state-of-the-art precision machinery to manufacture our magnetic cylinders to meet or exceed OEM specifications.

Innovative

Our Cerface™ magnet design was developed by our own engineering team. Cerface™ is used to describe the ceramic magnetic circuitry. Competitors may claim that their magnetic cylinders matches ours. But that claim only scratches the surface. Our Cerface™ design features a higher quality of magnets and an innovative design for the actual bonding of the magnets within the cylinder.

Unique

We have developed special techniques for our grinding process for our cylinders. This allows us to hold tighter tolerances than competitive cylinders. In fact, the runout tolerances on our X-treme® Series cylinders are so precise, many competitors do not have the tools necessary to measure them.
