Bunting® Pre-Engineered Magnetic Standard Frame Conveyors are the “Conveyor of Choice” for Material Handling to make your plant more productive and profitable. Standard Framed Conveyors are used for conveying your ferrous parts such as bolts, nails, stamped parts or assemblies around the plant, from one machine to the next operation or to stabilize part in feeding applications. Bunting® Standard Frame Conveyors can also be used to convey larger ferrous scrap out of a press over to a dumpster. They are a very economical choice, thanks to low initial cost, low maintenance, and long-term durability.

All Bunting® Standard Frame Conveyors are modular in design so you get exactly what you need quickly and economically. These conveyors come with standard infeed sections, standard corner curve and pulley sections, odd length sections as needed and an assortment of drive end options. These conveyors are matched with one of many permanent magnetic Ceramic or Neo Rare Earth rails by our engineers to proper hold and conveyor your specific parts. They can also be configured with a magnetic end pulley to turn parts over. The Engineers then select one of many belt options to properly match the application and the environment they will be used in whether it is low friction accumulation, tough urethane cut resistance or high friction conveying. From this, you as a Customer have a custom engineered material handling solution at an affordable price – not just an off the shelf, force it to work patch conveyor.

Bunting® Conveyors can handle just about any wholly or partially ferrous product and many types of ferrous scrap. And since part spacing, position, and release points are under permanent magnetic control, product abrasion and impact damage are eliminated as the magnet securely holds the parts and maintains part spacing. Even plastic assemblies with minimal ferrous components in them like circuit breakers can easily be conveyed with the Neo Rare Earth magnetic rails with positive control.

Magnetic conveyors help maintain a steady, uninterrupted flow of material and product. Often at higher rates than are practical with non-magnetic units. There are no cleats to jam parts, damage parts or halt production. And replacement of our durable belts is also less expensive and much easier than replacing conventional metal steel hinged belts.

Thanks to permanent magnetics, you can also save valuable floor space by moving materials vertical or up and over a machine, as seen in the photo to the right, in the unused space above your production machinery. Often times going vertically will save floor space in tight spaced installations as seen in the application photos above.

Magnetic conveying is often the best choice even when the parts being handled might be affected by traces of residual magnetism, such as tools, deburring applications or work hardened steel parts. In such cases, our engineering department will be glad to suggest or supply the appropriate demagnetizing equipment if residual magnetization in a problem.
