Magnetic Drive Rollers
Magnetic Drive Rollers can move and control sheet stock ranging from .010 inch tin plate to sheets over 1/4 inch thick. Drive Roller Assemblies are offered in three standard styles. Custom variations are also available. Stainless steel spacers separate the rollers to accommodate wide sheets. Outboard collars lock the roller assemblies in the desired position on the shaft.
Bunting’s exclusive design is engineered for trouble-free, efficient handling of sheet stock. Mild steel pole pieces and stainless steel encased magnets result in a highly scratch- and nick-resistant drive surface. Rollers can be positioned on the shaft with like poles together to create a strong, compact magnetic field.
Recessed between pole pieces, areas collect scrap filings to keep the transporting services clean to prevent scratching of product surface. Drive surfaces remain clean to reduce sheet scratching and provide a more constant driving force.
