Eliminate Manual Handling of Tote Pans from Under Machinery

Bunting® Magnetic Lawnchair Conveyors – MLCs – have been specially designed to automate scrap and part removal under machinery. Your operators no longer have to struggle with heavy, hard-to-handle totes. Our MLCs also eliminate the common problem of part and scrap overflow on the production line.

They let you maintain positive control and movement of ferrous materials from beneath the bolster plate area and out the back of the press into hoppers or containers. The cantilevered design allows the horizontal extension to be positioned under the machine to retrieve ferrous materials.

Bunting® Magnetic Lawnchair Conveyors come in four standard sizes and two styles. Special sizes are also available. Our Single-Belt MLC Conveyors are designed for applications involving parts or scrap 2’‘ in diameter or larger. Our Double-Belt MLC Conveyors are designed for applications where smaller parts and knockouts are encountered.

Skid-Base Models

We offer skid-base models of our MLC for punch presses with exceptionally low infeed or discharge chutes.

Powered Belt Cleaning Brush

Use of the optional powered brush is recommended where heavy concentrations of oil or small slugs are present. Superior cleaning is achieved by a bristle brush that is powered by the conveyor head shaft and rotates in the opposite direction of the return belt. This action whisks oil and slugs forward toward the discharge end of the conveyor. When ordering, please specify part number PB100 and the model number of the lawnchair conveyor with which the Belt Cleaning Brush will be used.
