Self-Cleaning Cartridge-Style Magnetic Liquid Traps

Self-Cleaning Cartridge-Style Traps offer the added benefit of fast, easy cleaning. Wherever large amounts of tramp are anticipated or when shutdown time must be kept to a minimum, the MLT-CSC is recommended. It can be cleaned and returned to service quickly.

To clean the trap, you remove the cartridge assembly from the housing and then simply unlatch and slide the magnetic cartridges out of the stainless steel cleaning tubes that surround them. The tramp metal falls away. Because of the air gap created by the cleaning tubes, the MLT-CSC has lower surface holding force than the MLT-C.
