Bunting® Magnetics Appoints New Human Resources Manager

Vanessa Pereira has been named as the new Human Resources Manager for Bunting® Magnetics Co., headquartered in Newton, Kansas.
“This is a vital role within our company and with Vanessa joining our team it will allow Bunting® raise our effectiveness in this area,” Doug Donaghue, Chief Financial Officer for Bunting® said. “We believe through efficient management in human resources that we will be able to maximize the return on investment from our employees and minimize financial risk.”
Ms. Pereira has over 14 years of corporate experience in the aircraft, energy, non-profit, manufacturing and telecommunications industries. Vanessa most recently served as a Human Resource Generalist for the Sherman Williams Company at their location in Andover, Kansas. Previously, she had served in a Human Resources role for T-Mobile in Wichita, Kansas. Vanessa holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Wichita State University. She is also a member of Society of Human Resource Management.
As the Human Resources Manager, Vanessa will be responsible for all employee recruitment, compensation and employee performance management, benefits administration, safety and regulatory compliance and employee relations initiatives. This includes oversight responsibility for the company’s annual United Way Campaign, Bunting® Magnetics Co. Employee Scholarship Program and coordination of all the 50th Anniversary events which will occur throughout 2009 to celebrate the founding of the company in 1959.
